As Decision Day approaches, everything seniors read this time of year is about why you should attend this college or that college. Today, we thought we'd change things up. Here are seven reasons you should not attend Siena College. (And p.s., happy April Fools' Day...)

As you probably already know, Siena is a liberal arts college at its core. Yes, we offer courses on coding, on programming and how to analyze data. (In fact, we have countless successful graduates whose technological skills have led them to very lucrative careers.) But as important as technology is to us, we will never stop promoting the importance of a liberal arts-based education.

Valentine's Day might have you thinking about who you love, but now is also a great time to think about what you love—and what it is you might want to study in college. Whether your passion is in science, economics, English or history, we're here to tell you that choosing to study something you love can be your smartest career choice.

Hot off the press! Kiplinger's Personal Finance released their list of the top 300 best college values of 2016. Siena College holds a spot, of course, but what's even better: Kiplinger's also ranked the top 100 in three categories including private liberal arts colleges. Yours truly is on that list, too, and although we're not really surprised, we're still delighted to be there.

From study abroad to D1 sports teams, to internships with top companies and volunteer work in our local community, Siena students love being involved. Even when winter break rolls around, Saints use their time off doing what they do best—learning, serving and having fun doing it. Take a look!
