As Decision Day approaches, everything seniors read this time of year is about why you should attend this college or that college. Today, we thought we'd change things up. Here are seven reasons you should not attend Siena College. (And p.s., happy April Fools' Day...)

Wherever you choose to attend college, you'll no doubt spend a lot of your time in the library. That's why it's a prime spot to remember on campus visits, and something you should ask students about whenever you have the chance. What you're looking for: great work spaces, nice views, long hours and let's be honest...cozy couches don't hurt! Here's what a few Siena students love about Standish Library. 

College fairs are the only place where you can hold casual conversations with admissions reps from all over the country, all in one day. With the holidays behind us, it's time to focus on the new year. As a high school student who is ultimately college-bound, you've surely been told plenty of times that your college years are going to be some of the best of your life. But that doesn't mean that your time leading up to college can't be one for the books! Keeping in mind your academic goals, our admissions team thought up a few ways you could make 2016 your best year yet.

From study abroad to D1 sports teams, to internships with top companies and volunteer work in our local community, Siena students love being involved. Even when winter break rolls around, Saints use their time off doing what they do best—learning, serving and having fun doing it. Take a look!

In the last few months, you've found out why Siena was the perfect choice for these Saints—a Capital Region native, a women's soccer player, a transfer student and more. But when we checked our list (and checked it twice), we discovered that one very important Saint was missing.

Not too long ago (for some of us!), we were in the same shoes as you: excited at the thought of attending a private college, but having our daydreams often interrupted by that whole tuition thing. Guess what we eventually discovered? 

One of the things students love about the admissions committee at Siena College is that we're really passionate about our school, and share the same Saint spirit as our students.
