Food Talk: Where Siena Students Do Brunch

Posted By Colin O’Reilly | May 4, 2017

We've already told you where to bring your parents and where to order takeout. So now, what about brunch? The Capital Region is one of the loveliest places to breakfast at lunchtime. There are all kinds of different diners, delis and donut shops (omg, Cider Belly Doughnuts!) to pick from. Here are just a few of our favorite local brunch spots.

Saati Deli: Sandwiches, shakshuka and Hungarian pastries, come on.

Bruegger's: We know it’s obvious, but, hey, Bruegger’s was founded here, so we love ourselves some bagels.

76 Diner: Breakfast all day, with gourmet omelets, challah French toast and also every single food item you could ever want (steaks, seafood, pasta, sandwiches, everything).

Cafe Madison: Vegan-friendly and classy (they have crepes!). There's also a dill onion bread there that will knock you right out of your chair, seriously.

Wolff’s Biergarten: Think: German brunch with curried eggs, bratwurst and potato pancakes.

Carmen’s Cafe: Cuban sandwiches and eggs with avocado and plantains... yes, it's as delicious as it sounds.

There's plenty more where that came from. Want to know where else we dine in upstate New York? Come see for yourself!
