As much as the Siena community is constantly on the go—playing ball, running, swimming, researching, interning, studying, traveling—we also love us some relaxing downtime in front of the TV. 

Earlier this summer, Siena alumni from all over—California, Colorado, Georgia, Texas and beyond—swarmed the Siena campus to reminisce about their college days and catch up with old friends at Reunion Weekend 2015.

To give you an idea of just how productive, ambitious and generally awesome Saints are year-round, take a look at this map and the list below. This is just a handful of places where Siena students can be found this summer. As you can see, they're always up to something noteworthy. 

For those just starting out on the college search, you'll find that one of the most exciting things about visiting campuses is meeting students who are just like you—and were in your shoes not too long ago. They don't allow calculators! They make you wear kilts! Their professors are from Mars! Okay, so those are a bit extreme. But when you haven't visited a college campus or spoken directly with an Admissions counselor, it's easy to have a few preconceived notions about different colleges, based on pretty much nothing at all. Have some ideas about Siena that you would want cleared up? Check out these common misconceptions we're asked about, and the reality behind each.

Maybe you aren't ready to give up your favorite sport from high school, or maybe you're ready to try something totally different. Either way, you should know that you don't have to compete at the varsity level to continue—or to start—something you love. At Siena, there's a wide range of men's, women's and co-ed recreational activities to keep you active in whatever sport you choose. Game on!

When you picture your four-year college experience, does it include possibly sticking around campus for a summer or two—interning, working, getting ahead in classes or volunteering? Good news if you become a Saint: the list of things to do when flip-flop weather is in full swing would make any student (and their visiting families) happy here. You showed it off in the obligatory pre-prom pics, twirled it around to an Ed Sheeran song or two and had a blast wearing it. But now that prom has come and gone, why not give your dress a new home? 

Every year just before graduation, Siena students come together for the one and only Siena Fest. It's an annual weekend of events that includes a big concert with big acts, and this year, we welcomed Hoodie Allen and Sammy Adams to campus. Needless to say, everyone had an awesome time.
