There's one question we get asked often that is both easy and difficult to answer: "What are the students like?" Easy, because Siena students really do have so many things in common. Difficult, because we've got a pretty diverse group of students here. That being said, we drew up a list of 50 very carefully chosen adjectives to describe Saints.

Hopefully by now, you have a few college visits lined up in the coming weeks. It's truly the best way to whittle down your list, and this time of year is perfect for touring campuses. Especially Siena's. The fall weather is unbeatable, and you'll get to meet current students, professors and, of course, our awesome Student Ambassadors. Speaking of the latter, time to virtually meet another one. 

"You'll get hands-on experience in small classes..." "You'll be taught by world-class faculty in small classes..." "You'll love our small classes..." If you couldn't already tell, small classes are a BIG thing for college admissions counselors to promote to prospective students. We've been asked a few times why small classes are so important, often by people who like the idea of meeting a lot of new people. 

You might not have to! At least not for Siena. We get it: adding college visits and application deadlines to the start of a new school year can have anyone feeling crunched for free time. The good news is, with a previously graded paper, you could be closer to completing your application to Siena than you think.

Last month, you heard from a transfer student. This month, we bring to you the perspective of a student who came all the way from the great state of Alaska to attend Siena College. Find out her reasons why YOU, especially if you're an out-of-stater, should consider Siena.

As much as the Siena community is constantly on the go—playing ball, running, swimming, researching, interning, studying, traveling—we also love us some relaxing downtime in front of the TV. 

Earlier this summer, Siena alumni from all over—California, Colorado, Georgia, Texas and beyond—swarmed the Siena campus to reminisce about their college days and catch up with old friends at Reunion Weekend 2015.
